Shooting and Boat!
Today we went shooting at the Dekalb Firing Range. We brought a couple different guns, my favorite being the .22-250 below. It is a bolt action, 5 round gun with a fairly strong scope. With steady hands, you can put 5 shots into the space a quarter would take up. It is quite accurate and fun to shoot. The others are shoulder killers though… well, except for the little .22 :)
Finished re-building the piston and cylinder from my Apache Deep-V gas powered R/C boat. I mixed up 2 gallons of 40:1 gas, filled it, primed it, choked it and turned it over twice (till it poped). Then I pulled the cord and it started right up. I love gas. Still need to find a momentary CLOSED switch (I found momentary OPEN) for the safety killswitch. The other problem is the throttle safety is kicking in like the battery is low… even after a night of charging.
